Sure! The objects in the PSD mockup files are detached from the background. So you can either drag the object to a suitable background or simply replace the background layer.
The default background layer in our Object Mockups also includes the function allowing to recolor the background filling.
Double-click on the BACKGROUND layer icon and select the filling color in the Color Picker.
